Canada-wide arrest warrant on First-degree murder charges

UPDATE: SUSPECT ARRESTED

(Ottawa) – A Canada wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of Alam Gabriel BUOC, 30 years old, of Ottawa, in relation to the homicides of Abdurahman AL-SHAMMARI and Dirie OLOL, and the attempted homicide of an adult male still in serious condition in hospital.

He is wanted on two charges of First-degree murder, and one of Attempted murder. BUOC is to be considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as black male, 6’4” (193cm), 201 lbs (91 kg), thin build, with short black hair (see picture.)

Anyone with information on BUOC’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Unit 613-236-1222, ext. 5493.

ARRESTED Crystal BASTIEN is wanted for the murder of Mohamad Mana

(Ottawa) – Crystal BASTIEN, 32 years old of Ottawa, is wanted for 1st Degree Murder in relation to the Saturday evening homicide on Walkley Road.

BASTIEN is described as being a white female, 5”2’ (157 cm), 135 lbs (61 kg). (view pictures)

She is considered to be violent. If you see her, please do not approach her, contact 911.

Suspect sought for attempt murder

The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit (SACA) has obtained a First Instance Warrant for the arrest of Shlash ALKHALAF, 35 years old of Ottawa.

Investigators charged ALKHALAF in a recent incident with:

– Attempt to commit murder

– Aggravated assault

– Assault by choking

– Uttering threats, death or bodily harm

– Forcible confinement

– Mischief under $5000

ALKHALAF is known to be violent. Should anyone have any information regarding his current whereabouts, please do not approach him; call 911 immediately.

Investigators believe that ALKHALAF may be in the Greater Toronto Area or Montreal.

Bolo Program Top 25 Update: Mohamed SHIRE featured as no 10 on Canada’s most wanted list

(Ottawa)—A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered by the Bolo Program, in cooperation with National Capital Area Crime Stoppers, for information leading to the arrest of Mohamed SHIRE, 34 years old, from Toronto, who is wanted on First degree murder charges.

SHIRE is tenth on Canada’s most wanted fugitive list issued today. The reward was part of numerous rewards announced by the Bolo Program as it updated its list of Canada’s Top 25 most wanted fugitives.

He is wanted for the murder of Abdulaziz Abdullah and Mohamed Abdullah in May 2021 on Alta Vista Drive, in Ottawa.

“We look forward to working with the Bolo Program to help amplify the message to help identify the whereabouts of this wanted suspect,” said National Capital Area Crime Stoppers President, Richard McMullen.

“The Ottawa Police wishes to acknowledge the support of the Bolo Program and National Capital Area Crime Stoppers with a reward that will no doubt raise public awareness about this fugitive,” said Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit Sgt. Chris O’Brien. “The Homicide Unit is seeking public tips to locate and arrest Mohamed SHIRE, so he can be held accountable for his actions before the courts and bring some level of closure to the grieving families.”
